Three trains ran over his body, suicide note blames police: Jaipur lecturer dies by suicide

In a shocking incident in Jaipur, a suspended lecturer allegedly died by suicide by jumping in front of an approaching train, at least three trains ran over his body before his body was removed from track and in the suicide note he has accused police of deliberately framing him in false case and this is the reason behind the suicide. This incident has raised serious questions on why it took so long to remove the body from track and alleged police harassment.

The deceased was identified as Manohar Lal Bhadu, 35, resident of Sanchore in Jalore district of Rajasthan and was staying in Mahesh Nagar area of Jaipur from some time.

The deceased is survived by three children and wife who are currently residing at his native place Sanchore in Jalore. He was staying in Jaipur at a rented accommodation in Mahesh Nagar and preparing for competitive exams. Police confirmed that the deceased Manohar allegedly jumped in front of a moving train on Wednesday evening. After receiving the information, police rushed to the spot and took his body to SMS Hospital mortuary.

Eyewitness account

An eyewitness named Ravi, a resident of Madhya Pradesh shared a shocking account that the deceased body was lying on a railway track for three hours and at least three trains passed over it before his body was removed from the track. “No one came. Finally, I myself removed the body from the track and placed it in a safer spot before the police came,”.

Who is blamed in the suicide note?

In the suicide note written by the deceased was shared on social media by his friend, which he had left with his friend before committing suicide.  In the suicide note, the deceased has blamed that Special Operations Group (SOG) officers falsely implicated him in various cases. In the note he elaborated that in 2022 and before there was some trivial case, but there wasn’t a FIR filed against him. But, the SOG officer named Mukesh Soni frequently questioned him and harassed him and even demanded money.

It was only after Soni’s transfer, the case remained inactive for about a year, but when a second arrest was made in the case, he was once again pulled up in the case. ASP Shyam Sundar Bishnoi on the direction of Mukesh Soni, added his name and more cases in his name.  He writes, “I was turned into a criminal. I was even accused of appearing in my own exam. My name was added to three or four charge sheets,”.

In the note, the deceased Manohar writes that he is the sole breadwinner for his big family. “I am not weak, but I cannot tolerate false allegations. Court cases drained me financially. For the last four years, I have survived by borrowing from friends,”.

Police Response to the allegations in the suicide note

SHO of Mahesh Nagar said the body is at the SMS Hospital mortuary, family has been informed and investigation is underway. Police said that they haven’t recovered anything from the deceased and the viral suicide note is being verified if true or fake.
