Ranbir Kapoor Declares Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ as his Favorite Film, Praises Cast & Crew

During a recent live session with fans, actor Ranbir Kapoor expressed his admiration for the film Dhurandhar, asserting it as his favorite movie at the moment. When questioned about his latest enjoyable viewing experience, Ranbir enthusiastically remarked, “The last, current favourite movie was Dhurandhar. Absolutely loved that film. I think the entire cast and crew smashed it. Really good times at the movies.”

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, features Ranveer Singh in the role of an Indian intelligence officer assigned to infiltrate criminal networks in Lyari, Pakistan. The film’s narrative revolves around dismantling a terror organization, highlighting themes of espionage and action. Alongside Singh, notable actors such as Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan also play significant roles in the movie.

The film has achieved remarkable success at the box office, reportedly generating over Rs 1300 crore worldwide. This accomplishment marks Dhurandhar as the first Hindi film to surpass the Rs 1000 crore milestone domestically, solidifying its position among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

A sequel to Dhurandhar, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is set to be released on March 19, 2026. Ranveer Singh will reprise his role, joined by returning cast members Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan. The film’s release is anticipated to coincide with another feature, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, which stars Yash.
