Throughout India, large numbers of devotees visited temples to celebrate Ram Navami, particularly in Ayodhya, where the birthplace of Lord Rama is located. Local authorities implemented heightened security measures to safely manage the large influx of pilgrims. This included drone surveillance alongside additional zonal arrangements to ensure the safety and orderliness of the event.

Significance of Ram Navami

Ram Navami is celebrated annually on the final day of Chaitra Navaratri, commemorating the birth of Lord Rama. It is a festival that emphasizes the importance of dharma and virtue within Hindu culture. On this day, young girls, symbolizing the nine forms of goddess Durga, are often given gifts and prasad to celebrate their significance in the festivities.
