“No Child Should Hear War”: Vishnu Manchu Shares Alarming Missile Footage from Dubai

The CSR Journal Magazine

Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu recently shared a disturbing video from Dubai, capturing streaks of missiles lighting up the night sky as regional tensions continued to escalate. The video, posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on February 28, reflects the unsettling reality faced by civilians amid rising hostilities in the Middle East.

Manchu, who is in Dubai visiting family, posted clips showing flashing lights in the sky and described how the loud explosions, believed to be missile interceptions, shook his home. In his post, he expressed deep concern over the impact the sounds had on his young daughter, Ayra, saying that witnessing such scenes from home was frightening for her.

‘Sound of War’ Above Domestic Life

In the caption accompanying the video, Manchu wrote: “In Dubai visiting family tonight. Missiles visible in the sky. The loud interceptions shook our home and frightened little Ayra.” He added that he was “praying for peace” and emphasized that “no child anywhere should grow up hearing the sound of war above their roof.” The actor also expressed gratitude toward the United Arab Emirates defence forces for their efforts in safeguarding civilians during this challenging period.

He also wrote, “Grateful to the UAE defense forces for keeping civilians safe. Moments like this remind us how fragile life really is. Praying for strength and Peace. Har Har Mahadev.”

His message struck a poignant tone, urging reflection on the fragility of life and the well-being of innocent families caught amid geopolitical conflict.

Rising Tensions Across the Region

The footage came amid a sharp rise in hostilities between major powers in the Middle East. Earlier reports indicated that coordinated strikes by the United States and Israel on targets in Iran had triggered a wave of retaliatory missile and drone attacks across the Gulf, including areas near the UAE. These developments have led to heightened security alerts and disruptions to daily life in the region.

Air defence systems in Gulf states, including the UAE, have been activated to intercept potential threats, contributing to the dramatic visual and sonic displays reported by residents. While officials have not confirmed direct damage in Dubai itself, the intensity of defensive activity has been widely noted.

Civilian Impact and Broader Reaction

Manchu’s video captures the human side of an international crisis, the experience of everyday families living through periods of unpredictability and fear. His heartfelt appeal for peace and concern for his daughter reflects broader anxieties felt by residents and visitors in conflict-affected areas.
