Jan Suraj Party national president Uday Singh has written a letter to PM Modi demanding action against Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary. The president of the party has written in his letter that Samrat Chaudhary should present the proper documents in the Launa Parsa massacre case and describe himself as a minor and released from jail, his to remain in high position will reduce public confidence in the rule of law.
Samrat Chaudhary has been in jail for several months: Uday Singh
Uday Singh has said in his letter that according to the government records, Samrat Chaudhary’s name is registered as accused in Laana Parsa Massacre (Case No. 44/1995, Thana Tarapur) on 28 March 1995, in which six people of Kushwaha community were killed. In this case, six other accused including Samrat.
Chaudhary were arrested and sent to jail. He remained in jail for several months, his bail was rejected twice. He proved his age 15 years based on the admit card of matriculation and was released after getting the status of a minor.
Deputy CM accused of manipulation
But, in later electoral affidavits, he described his birth year 1969, due to which he becomes 51 years old in 2020. It is clear from this that he was 26 years old in 1995, that is, he was not a minor. This contradiction is also an indication that by presenting the wrong document, he was released from jail and an attempt was made to avoid a serious crime. The persistence of this type of person not only hurts the dignity of governance, but also reduces the trust of the people in the rule of law and democratic institutions.
Demand to dismiss from the post of minister
Uday Singh has written in the last of his letter, so a humble request to you is to immediately dismiss Samrat Chaudhary from the post of minister and let the law take his natural path so that the victims of this massacre can get justice. I am confident that under your leadership, such issues will be resolved with proper seriousness and a sense of accountability in public life.
