The child walked into the local police station, claiming that family members were attacking her mother. Assistant Superintendent of Police, East Hardoi, Subodh Gautam, stated that officers were promptly dispatched to the location after receiving the girl’s report. Two individuals were detained for questioning in connection with the incident, and a formal case is being initiated.

According to ASP Gautam, the child’s alarm prompted immediate police intervention to address the ongoing violence. Upon arriving at the scene, officers confirmed that a conflict related to land was indeed taking place, which involved attacks on Pooja Devi by family members. The police acted swiftly to detain two suspects for interrogation and are moving forward with filing an official complaint regarding the incident. Kasganj Family Tragedy: Five Found Dead

In a separate tragic incident in Kasganj district, police discovered the bodies of five family members who are believed to have died in a possible murder-suicide incident. Authorities suspect that 50-year-old Satyaveer, alias Shyamveer, may have killed his wife, Ramshree, 48, and their three children, aged between 9 and 12, before taking his own life. The local police were notified around 6.30 PM when neighbors reported that the family had not been seen for several days.

Investigation into the Circumstances Surrounding the Deaths

Upon reaching the residence, police found Satyaveer’s body hanging from a noose, while the other four bodies were located beneath a quilt on a bed in the same room. The forensic team was summoned to the scene, and a dog squad was deployed for investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that Satyaveer may have committed suicide following the murder of his family members. Police are currently awaiting the results of autopsies to provide further clarity on the incident.

Aligarh Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Prabhakar Chaudhary confirmed the tragic event involving the family comprising a father, mother, and their three children. Evidence at the scene suggests suicide, as the door was locked from the inside without signs of forced entry.
