CSR: MMTC-PAMP announces scholarships for engineering and medical aspirants
MMTC-PAMP has announced scholarships to help science students from Haryana’s Nuh district prepare for engineering and medical entrance exams. This initiative will allow students of government schools, who have opted for science and have passed class X and XI this year, to avail fully paid coaching scholarships. As part of this CSR initiative, MMTC-PAMP will provide access to the coaching course free of cost by engaging Sri Chaitanya Group of Institutions to help students prepare for engineering and medical entrance exams. The course will be available online completely and will be for a duration of 25 weeks.
MMTC-PAMP’s LBMA accredited gold and silver refinery is based outside Nuh city, and the precious metal refiner has been active in strengthening the local community through its multiple CSR forays. MMTC-PAMP recognizes that skilling and education are vitally important in order to build strong communities. MMTC-PAMP has partnered with Sri Chaitanya Group to implement their vision for community empowerment due to the latter’s end-to-end education cycle model.
At Sri Chaitanya, students will be taught through interactive live classes, and will be assessed through daily and weekly tests. The students will be provided constructive inputs by the faculty to ensure they have a complete understanding of the concepts. This model helps lakhs of students across Sri Chaitanya’s 600+ educational institutions pan India, including the students studying at their specialised coaching centres for JEE Main/Jee Advanced/NEET/EAMCET in cities like Vishakhapatnam, Ranchi, Bangalore among other cities.
In the past, MMTC-PAMP has partnered with Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management (SRCEM) to offer a 2-year training program and are planning to collaborate with SkillSonics India, a National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) approved Training Partner, for a Swiss–certified VET Curriculum to equip students with trade–specific skills.
“We have already touched lives of over 34,000 people spread across 27 locations through our various CSR projects that are inspired by the ground realities and conceived at the grassroots. This initiative to help meritorious students unlock their potential and achieve their dreams is an extension of our commitment of generating a lasting impact on the society that extends beyond business value creation.”, said Vikas Singh, Managing Director & CEO, MMTC-PAMP India Pvt Ltd.
Sushma Boppana, Academic Director, Sri Chaitanya said, “We understand how the student should be approached, motivated, counselled, and taught. We strongly believe in overall development of the student and work towards preparing him how to think, how to absorb the subject and use it in the exam. Speed, accuracy, and stability is necessary for competitive exam. Our schools have been extremely successful and improved so much throughout the journey. With online learning, aim to make the learning even more seamless. We are happy that we bring this know how on the table and help the students of Nuh Haryana.”
