CM Yogi Adityanath Calls for Stricter Noise Control & Enhanced Security Measures Across UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath demanded strict regulations for controlling loudspeaker noise levels in religious institutions. During his Circuit House review meeting on March 13, 2025, the CM made this announcement. The CM ordered officials to maintain Holi behaviour without loud DJs so the festival’s noise pollution remained at a minimum.
Security efforts received a boost when CM Adityanath instructed authorities to place CCTV cameras across commercial zones, financial institutions, and busy public areas for surveillance purposes. The CM emphasised a zero-tolerance approach to enforcing the state’s total prohibition on cattle smuggling. Anyone involved in smuggling activities including trespassers and vehicle owners as well as corrupt police officers will receive harsh punishment according to the CM’s warning. The Additional Director General of the Police (ADG) zone Piyush Mordia was responsible for organising district-specific checks to effectively monitor compliance with the ban.

Accelerating Infrastructure Projects

The chief minister stated that infrastructure development required increased speed for active projects. The officers received specific directions to select project representatives who needed to report project progress through detailed inspection reports weekly. The CM instructed immediate action when delays were found to both speed up work progression and uphold top-grade construction quality.
In light of the approaching summer, CM Adityanath also emphasised the need for an uninterrupted water supply across the state. To improve the city’s visual appeal, he suggested beautifying flyover pillars with artistic murals and high-quality advertisements. Furthermore, the CM called for the creation of designated vending zones to provide a structured space for street vendors, helping streamline urban commerce.

Other Announcements by CM Yogi

CM Adityanath also prioritised the welfare of farmers by ensuring that wheat procurement centers are equipped with affordable meals, free drinking water, and proper seating arrangements. Wheat procurement, which will begin on March 17 at 36 centers, will be carried out at Rs 2,425 per quintal.
Additionally, the CM announced plans to establish hostels and affordable canteens for working women in the district. He called for enhanced vigilance during the ‘Holika Dahan’ and Holi celebrations and ordered a focus on tracking and apprehending top criminals at each police station to maintain law and order.
