Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, inaugurated the state’s stall at SEMICON India 2026 on September 15, 2026, in New Delhi. The event was attended by Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, who underscored the significance of Odisha in the semiconductor industry. This inauguration came amid growing interest in the semiconductor sector within the region.

Potential of Odisha in Semiconductor Sector

During the event, Union Minister Vaishnaw remarked on the vast potential of Odisha in the semiconductor field, commending the state’s significant progress in advancing related projects.
