Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, inaugurated the state’s stall at SEMICON India 2026 on September 15, 2026, in New Delhi. The event was attended by Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, who underscored the significance of Odisha in the semiconductor industry. Potential of Odisha in Semiconductor Sector

Additionally, Vaishnaw revealed that three new projects are currently in progress with the assistance of the Odisha government, which have reportedly met with approval from investors. Manufacturing Park for IT and Electronics
