Class 2 Boy Tied, Hung Upside Down & Beaten, Principal Caught Slapping Students in Haryana

The CSR Journal Magazine

A deeply disturbing incident of child abuse at a private school in Panipat, Haryana, has triggered widespread outrage. The shocking incident has raised serious concerns over student safety in educational institutions. The abuse came to light after two videos surfaced on social media, exposing severe mistreatment of children by school staff.

Student Tied and Hung from Window by Driver

In one of the viral videos, a Class 2 student was seen with his legs tied and hung upside down from a window while still in his school uniform. The child was reportedly beaten by school driver Ajay on August 13 for not completing his homework. The boy’s mother, Doli, a resident of Mukhija Colony, alleged that school principal Reena had instructed Ajay to punish her son. Shockingly, Ajay also made video calls to his friends during the abuse and later uploaded the footage online.

Principal Also Seen Beating Children

A second video showed principal Reena slapping and beating young students in front of their classmates. She later defended her actions by claiming that the boys had misbehaved with two girls and that she had informed the parents before disciplining them. However, this justification goes against the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, both of which strictly prohibit corporal punishment in schools.

More Shocking Allegations from Parents

Parents further alleged that children were sometimes forced to clean toilets as a form of punishment. After the video went viral, the child’s family confronted the school. Reena admitted she had asked Ajay to scold the boy but claimed he had been fired on August 30 due to complaints about his behavior. However, the family also alleged that Ajay attempted to intimidate them by sending a group of men to their home.

Police Take Action, Case Registered

Model Town police have registered a case under several sections of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015, and have assured that strict action will be taken against the accused. SP Bhupender Singh confirmed that an investigation is underway and the driver will be arrested soon.

This incident has sparked a wave of anger among parents and child rights activists, who are demanding stronger enforcement of child protection laws in schools across the country.
