BJP Launches ‘Seva Pakhwada’ Nationwide Campaign from Sept 17

The CSR Journal Magazine

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a nationwide service initiative called ‘Seva Pakhwada’ from September 17 to October 2, 2026. This initiative is designed to mark the milestone of Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in constitutional public office. The 15-day campaign aims to engage citizens in various public service and welfare activities throughout the country.

The ‘Seva Pakhwada’ will showcase a range of activities including sanitation drives, blood donation camps, tree plantation events, and health camps. These initiatives are intended to encourage public participation and highlight the importance of community service in improving societal welfare.

This campaign coincides with the date of October 7, 2026, which marks 25 years since Modi took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001. The BJP is keen to celebrate this significant period in his political journey by mobilising local communities to partake in public welfare efforts.

Organisational Structure for the Campaign

BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been appointed as the National Convener to oversee the ‘Seva Pakhwada’. To facilitate this nationwide initiative, a dedicated seven-member team will be established in each state. Each team will include a minister, an organisational general secretary, and five senior party leaders responsible for coordinating the activities and ensuring effective implementation of the campaign.

Additionally, the BJP is planning to organise photo and digital exhibitions that will chronicle Prime Minister Modi’s political milestones over the last 25 years. These exhibitions will focus on his governance record, development initiatives, and various welfare schemes that have been introduced during his tenure.

The campaign will also feature seminars and intellectual forums dedicated to discussing themes of good governance and development. The concept of ‘Antyodaya’, which refers to the upliftment of the marginalised sections of society, will be a key focus area, and interactive sessions with youth and diverse groups are expected to foster dialogue and engagement.

Awareness Initiatives and Educational Activities

Special camps will form an essential part of the ‘Seva Pakhwada’, aimed at raising awareness about the welfare schemes offered by both the Central and state governments. These camps will disseminate information about the benefits available under various programmes, thereby ensuring that citizens are informed about their rights and entitlements.

Furthermore, the BJP intends to hold intellectual conferences and seminars on pivotal themes, such as good governance and community development. The encouragement of dialogue on ‘Antyodaya’ and other social issues is central to these discussions, with the intent to stimulate thought and generate actionable insights among participants.

The engagement activities will not only appeal to young individuals but also reach out to broader segments of society. The party aims to create an inclusive atmosphere for interaction to ensure that various voices and perspectives are heard and can contribute to the overall objectives of the campaign.
