Confidence Expressed by BJP Leaders

Following the nominations, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya expressed strong confidence in the party’s chances in the upcoming elections. He asserted that all eight candidates are likely to win, regardless of whether the Samajwadi Party puts forward a third candidate. Maurya emphasized that the BJP encompasses the philosophy of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” presenting a diverse range of candidates.

He also remarked on the previous electoral claims made by Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, suggesting that the BJP’s candidates are well-equipped to secure victory. The eight nominees put forth by the BJP are Dharampal Singh, Vidyasagar Sonkar, Ram Pratap Singh, Priyanka Singh Rawat, Radhakant Ojha, Gopi Krishna Pandey, Shruti Gangwar, and Prakash Pal. Their nomination aims to strengthen the party’s position in the Rajya Sabha, which plays a crucial role in policy-making and legislative processes.

Candidates Express Gratitude for Party Support

Upon the announcement of their candidacies, Vidyasagar Sonkar and Prakash Pal shared their appreciation for the support of the party’s state and central leadership. Sonkar indicated his commitment to uphold the responsibilities entrusted to him, emphasizing his continuous efforts to engage with party members and the public.
