Mahboob, a 40-year-old primary school teacher, went missing on September 21, 2025. However, he was later found buried in a field near Mullabari village, two months after his disappearance.

According to reports, the shocking truth came to light when police traced the murder to Joshanara and her family members, who had been in a long-running dispute over Mahboob’s property in West Bengal. The murder was carefully planned, with Mahboob being killed by his brothers-in-law in a car and then buried in a remote field. The police, after a thorough investigation, arrested four suspects and recovered the body.
