Love, Land & Murder: Andhra Man Beheaded by Wife’s Father Over Affair With Sister-In-Law

In a horrifying turn of events, a long-standing family dispute ended in bloodshed. A man was brutally murdered, beheaded, and dismembered by his father-in-law and accomplices. The murder, allegedly was driven by a mix of betrayal, rage, and land ownership tensions. The gruesome nature of the crime has shocked the state.

Vishwanath, a resident of Dharmavaram, married Shyamala, the elder daughter of Venkataramanappa nearly 20 years ago. However, their marriage soon began unraveling. This comes after Vishwanath reportedly started an illicit relationship with his wife’s younger sister. This affair deeply fractured both family ties, sparking bitter disputes and resentment.

The Murder Deal: Rs 4 Lakh Contract Killing

According to reports amid the growing tension, Vishwanath eventually left his home in Dharmavaram. He then moved to Kadiri with his sister-in-law and mother-in-law. The rift widened when he allegedly attempted to sell a piece of land. The land was registered under his mother-in-law’s name. This move infuriated Venkataramanappa leading to the murder.

Unable to tolerate the ongoing humiliation and land dispute, Venkataramanappa allegedly plotted his son-in-law’s murder. He reportedly paid his friend Katamayya Rs 4 lakh to orchestrate the killing. According to police, Katamayya baited Vishwanath into traveling to Mudigubba. He offered Vishwanath Rs 50,000 in financial help for farming.

Ambushed and Executed in a Secluded Hill

When Vishwanath arrived in Mudigubba on July 3, he was reportedly ambushed by Venkataramanappa, Katamayya, and three others. The group allegedly took him to a remote, hilly area where they carried out the gruesome murder. The group then beheaded Vishwanath and dismembered his body.

Cellphone Data Cracks the Case

As the incident came to light the investigators used mobile tower location data to track all five suspects. All their phones were found to be in the same location at the time of the murder. This led to the arrest of all five accused. However, the police say the case is still under active investigation.

What began as a marriage dispute spiraled into betrayal, a property conflict, and a gruesome murder. The tragic case has raised fresh concerns about domestic violence, honor-based killings, and the devastating consequences of unresolved family conflicts.
