Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming series Akka, showcasing the talents of Keerthy Suresh and Radhika Apte. The narrative unfolds in a fictional kingdom where women hold significant power, exploring themes of family, rivalry, and the struggle for dominance. The story revolves around two influential women whose contrasting ideals threaten to disrupt a long-standing order.

The trailer introduces viewers to Pernuru, a realm where women have historically shaped traditions and maintained their authority across generations. However, this carefully preserved equilibrium faces challenges as an outsider emerges, questioning the established norms. As tensions escalate, past rivalries resurface, and personal loyalties are tested, setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation.

At the heart of the series are the characters Bhavani, portrayed by Keerthy Suresh, and Rudra, played by Radhika Apte. Their differing perspectives on power and the lengths they will go to protect their legacies create a narrative rich in conflict and complexity. The stakes rise as their personal differences evolve into a larger struggle for control over Pernuru.
