88 Nations and International Organizations Endorse AI Impact Summit Declaration: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on Saturday that a total of 88 countries and international organizations have officially endorsed the declaration from the AI Impact Summit. This summit took place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 16 to 20, 2026. Vaishnaw stated that 86 countries and two international organizations have accepted the guiding principle of ‘Sarvanjana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaaya’, which translates to ‘welfare for all, happiness for all’. He highlighted that this widespread acceptance marks a significant milestone in the global understanding of artificial intelligence.

During his comments to the media, Vaishnaw emphasized the universal acknowledgment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for human-centric artificial intelligence.
