Sony Launches New Ult Party Speakers in India Ahead of Festive Season

Sony has unveiled its latest Ult speaker series in India, coinciding with the festive season. This new collection consists of three models: the Ult Tower 5, Ult Tower 7, and Ult Tower Max. Each speaker is designed to deliver an enhanced audio experience tailored for various types of gatherings, ranging from intimate house parties to large outdoor events.

These speakers are part of the second-generation Ult lineup, emphasising powerful bass, increased volume capabilities, and an immersive party atmosphere. They incorporate Sony’s Ult Power Sound technology, which aims to optimise audio quality based on the listener’s environment.

Features of Ult Tower 5 and Ult Tower 7

The Ult Tower 5 boasts a sound output of 300W, featuring a 230mm woofer complemented by two tweeters and Ult Duct technology. According to Sony, this model offers a battery life of up to 20 hours and has an IPX4 water resistance rating, allowing for versatile placement, either vertically or horizontally. It includes four handles for ease of transport and is equipped with 56 LEDs featuring multiple lighting modes.

Connectivity options for the Ult Tower 5 are diverse, encompassing Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, USB-A, RCA, XLR In/Out, and microphone inputs. Additionally, it supports karaoke functionalities along with other features such as Stereo Pair, Party Chain via Aura Cast, and low-latency DSP.

The Ult Tower 7 enhances audio output to 420W and includes a 280mm woofer, a rear tweeter, and a comprehensive speaker array with midrange units and tweeters. This model is designed to deliver 360-degree sound and supports multiple sound modes, including Ult1, Ult2, and Live Flat. It has a battery life of up to 30 hours and shares similar portability features with the Ult Tower 5.

Details of Ult Tower Max and Pricing

The top model in the series, the Ult Tower Max, provides a powerful 2,150W output, featuring three 280mm woofers along with various other components designed to ensure comprehensive sound coverage. It supports similar audio modes as the other two models and comes with advanced connectivity features, including XLR/RCA inputs and stereo pairing capabilities.

The pricing for the new Ult speakers reflects their specifications. The Ult Tower 5 is priced at Rs 34,990, while the Ult Tower 7 is available for Rs 49,990. The premium Ult Tower Max is listed at Rs 1,39,990. The Ult Tower 5 and Ult Tower 7 will be accessible from October 8, whereas the Ult Tower Max will be launched on November 15, 2026.
