40-Year-Old Man Dies by Suicide in Ghaziabad; Mother Found Dead

The CSR Journal Magazine

A tragic incident unfolded in Ghaziabad on Thursday when a 40-year-old man lost his life after jumping from the 13th floor of a residential building at Mahagunpuram Society. Emergency services were alerted following the incident, and responders found the man in critical condition. He was immediately transported to a nearby private hospital, where medical personnel declared him dead upon arrival.

Identification of Victims

The deceased has been identified as Rajveer, the son of Mahendra Singh. He lived in the apartment alongside his 70-year-old mother, Satnam Kaur. Upon inspection of the flat by law enforcement officers, they discovered Satnam Kaur’s body on a bed. Authorities assessed that her body seemed to have been there for approximately two days, exhibiting no significant external injuries.

Background Information on Rajveer

Investigations suggest that Rajveer had been leading a complicated personal life. He was reportedly living separately from his wife, who resides with their child in Gaur City-2. While Rajveer had visited them frequently, he had not done so in the previous two days. His wife was notified of the incident and arrived at the hospital shortly thereafter. Rajveer was known to have previously worked in astrology but had recently been without a job, leading to concerns about his mental well-being. Friends and family mentioned that he had taken to recording podcasts in recent times.

Investigation Underway

The circumstances surrounding both deaths have prompted serious questions from investigators. There is uncertainty regarding whether the death of Satnam Kaur preceded Rajveer’s fall and the precise timeline of events that led to the tragedy. With both bodies now in police custody, they have been sent for postmortem examinations to establish the cause of their deaths. Suryabali Maurya, the Assistant Commissioner of Police from Kavi Nagar, confirmed the details of the incident and mentioned that further legal actions are being pursued as the investigation unfolds.
