A 15-year-old boy was killed and another minor seriously injured after the electric scooter they were travelling on was caught between two cars in Kamareddy town of Telangana on Friday. The crash took place in the Ashok Nagar area.

CCTV footage shows a white car crashing into a blue car as the latter was making a turn. The scooter carrying the two boys was caught between the vehicles during the collision, throwing both riders off the two-wheeler.

Teen Killed In Car-Scooter Collision

The collision left both boys with serious injuries. One of them, aged 15, died at the scene, while the other was taken to Kamareddy General Hospital for treatment.

The injured minor remains under medical care at the hospital. Further details about his condition were not immediately available.

The CCTV footage is being examined as part of the investigation into the sequence of events leading to the crash.

Police Investigate Cause Of Crash

Police registered a case following the accident and began investigating how the two cars collided and how the electric scooter came to be caught between them.

Investigators are examining whether excessive speed, negligent driving or other factors contributed to the accident. Police have not confirmed any specific cause so far.

Officials are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash, and further details are awaited.

Bus Overturns In Separate Kamareddy Accident

In a separate accident in Kamareddy on Friday, a bus overturned at Jukal X Road, killing its driver and injuring several passengers.

According to news agency ANI, the bus was travelling from Hyderabad to Bichkunda when it hit a roadside divider and overturned. The driver, identified as Anjaneyulu, died at the spot.

Several passengers were injured in the crash and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
