A 35-year-old woman was stabbed to death on Saturday night in a wholesale cloth shop located in Azampura, Hyderabad. The tragic incident occurred around 9.40 pm at the Manha Wholesale Cloth Store, which is situated next to Sahifa Masjid and falls under the jurisdiction of the Chaderghat police station. The victim, identified as Tahera Bhanu, was working at the store at the time of the attack.

Reports indicate that Mohd Ibrahim, a former employee of the shop, allegedly entered the premises and assaulted her with a sharp knife. Following the attack, Bhanu was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The police responded promptly to the scene and subsequently apprehended Ibrahim, who is now in custody.

Investigation and Alleged Motive

Preliminary investigations suggested that a fallout in a relationship between Bhanu and Ibrahim may have motivated the attack. According to initial statements from Ibrahim, he and Bhanu had been in a relationship for several years. He claimed that she had recently begun to distance herself from him, resulting in escalating feelings of resentment.

Accused In Custody and Safety Measures
