It is essential to align core and job-specific competencies with values and in turn capture organizational values as core competencies. The same can be communicated and developed in corporate citizens at every talent management touch point and reinforcing corporate culture. In recent years, Government of India has also recognized the need to impart education in the field of Animal welfare science in a professional manner with a structured framework.

Growing urbanization, scarcity of natural resources, destruction of animal habitats and increase vehicular traffic etc. has resulted into more incidences of human animal conflict, animal cruelty and accidental injury etc. Infrastructure and an increase fund flow for sound Animal welfare support is essential to ensure sustainable development and conservation. Animal Welfare is also vital in the context of bringing in compassion in the society.
