Zero Tolerance! Yogi Adityanath Launches Major Action Drive Against Police Lapses

The CSR Journal Magazine

During the Janta Darshan in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to take uncompromising action in all police-related matters and ensure immediate assistance to victims.

Addressing grievances at the Gorakhnath Temple on Tuesday morning, he stressed that delays or negligence in helping people would not be tolerated. Nearly 300 citizens met the Chief Minister at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium to present their issues.

‘No Negligence Will Be Excused’: CM Yogi

CM Yogi warned officials that any lapse in resolving public complaints would result in strict action against the responsible officers. He instructed departments to identify barriers in grievance resolution and eliminate them without delay. Cases deliberately kept pending, he said, would attract accountability measures. Reassuring attendees, he emphasized that every concern raised would be resolved promptly and fairly. Police and administrative officials were told to provide timely, transparent, and high-quality solutions.

He said, “Any lapse in addressing public grievances will lead to action against the responsible officials.” He instructed that obstacles in resolving a victim’s issue be identified and removed promptly. If a case is intentionally kept pending at any level, the concerned officer will be held accountable.

Support for Medical Assistance Applicants

As seen in previous Janta Darshans, several residents sought financial support for medical treatments. CM Yogi directed officials to quickly prepare hospital estimates and forward them to the state government for approval. He assured that necessary aid would be extended through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund. Maintaining his characteristic warmth, he handed chocolates to children accompanying their families.

Morning Ritual at Gorakhnath Temple

Before the public interaction, CM Yogi followed his daily routine at the Gorakhnath Temple. He offered prayers to Gorakhnath, paid tribute to his mentor Mahant Avedyanath, and visited various parts of the temple complex. At the cowshed, he served and fed jaggery to the cows, spending time in quiet reflection.

A peacock, which regularly approaches him during his visits, once again came close; the Chief Minister gently stroked it and fed it roti from his hand, displaying his calm and compassionate side.
