Manoj Bajpayee is set to return as Srikant Tiwari in the third season of The Family Man, with the first-look poster released by Prime Video on June 24. The image shows Bajpayee surrounded by masked gunmen, hinting at an intense new chapter for the series.

Though the streaming platform hasn’t confirmed an exact release date, Bajpayee had earlier told OTT Play that the show would hit Prime Video in November. Production has been completed, and the series is now moving into post-production.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for updates since Season 2 ended, and the new poster—bearing the tagline “The Family Man Returns”—has reignited online buzz. Prime Video posted: “All eyes on our family men #TheFamilyManOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon.”

While the setting for this season appears different, Tiwari’s role as an undercover agent working for the fictional Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC) continues. This time, he’s expected to navigate fresh threats in a new territory.

Adding to the anticipation, actor Jaideep Ahlawat joins the ensemble. He confirmed his role in an interview with News24, and according to a Filmfare insider: “Jaideep has a very prominent role in The Family Man Season 3. His character will go up against Manoj Bajpayee’s Srikant, and audiences will get to watch these two legends of the screen play off each other’s energies.”

Alongside Bajpayee, returning cast members include Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Dalip Tahil, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag.

Social media was quick to react. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who portrayed the antagonist Raji in the previous season, shared the announcement on Instagram: “TheFamilyManOnPrime Issss backkkk 🔥 Coming soon.”

Other cast members chimed in, with Shreya Dhanwanthary writing: “The gang is back!” and Sharib Hashmi exclaiming: “YOOOHOOOOO.”

According to the reports production told FilmyBeat that the release could be timed around Diwali 2025, likely after the conclusion of IPL that year. “The Family Man 3 will either premiere in the second half of 2025 or release early next year. The streaming giant might target a Diwali pre-release… Expected the unexpected in the third season as the makers have planned a special twist to entice the viewers,” the source said.

Since its debut, The Family Man has built a reputation as one of India’s most gripping spy series, balancing action with emotional stakes. The third season, according to insiders, may raise the bar yet again.
