Director’s Vision

On the occasion of the premiere, director Aditya Sarpotdar expressed his long-standing desire to work with actor Ayushmann Khurrana. He noted, “From the very beginning, he was my first and only choice. Ayushmann possesses an emotional authenticity that resonates with audiences, even in unconventional narratives. Casting and Plot Details

In Thamma, Ayushmann Khurrana stars as Alok Goyal, a journalist whose ordinary life is transformed when he falls in love with a character named Tadaka/Tarika, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna. This film marks the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, following previous entries such as Stree, Roohi, Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2. Under the direction of Sarpotdar, the film also features notable performances by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, and Sathyaraj in key roles.
