Godrej Locks celebrates ‘Home Safety Day’ on 15th November every year. This year was also not an exception. To mark this event, the brand announced a ‘Live Safe, Life Free’ Program under which they will run a ‘Home Safety Awareness Campaign’ across 52 locations in the ‘10 most vulnerable Indian cities’ over 52 weeks. These cities are Mumbai, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Ahmedabad and Patna.
The year 2021 reported about 17 % increase in cases of theft, robbery and burglary within residential premises as compared to 2020, as per data from National Crime Records Bureau. This is why the ‘Home Safety Awareness Campaign’ is relevant.

Responding to this, Mr Motwani shared, “The locks market in India is growing in terms of technology and style, as a transition from high-end mechanical locks to digital locks has been seen among consumers. Moreover, keyless and digital safety solutions are becoming a preferred choice with consumers and architects. Godrej Locks, a legacy brand in the locking solution have been manufacturing and marketing various digital locks which cater to the needs of the customers. These digital locks can be accessed with a password, RFID card, and a 4 or 6-digit passcode on the keypad.”
