Shanaya Kapoor marked her 27th birthday on November 2 with a Halloween-inspired dinner attended by her close friends, including Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and Ananya Panday. The gathering featured a candlelit atmosphere, adorned with red roses and skull decorations, creating a unique and spooky ambience for the occasion. The actor shared images from the event, showcasing the intimate setting that she described as a gathering of her “witches.”

The dinner moved away from traditional birthday celebrations, opting for a darker theme that aligned with the Halloween spirit. The table was meticulously styled, featuring flickering candles and themed decorations that enhanced the overall mood of the evening. Shanaya’s choice of decor reflected a departure from typical balloons and elaborate cakes, focusing instead on a more sophisticated and eerie atmosphere.

Photos from the celebration captured moments of joy as Shanaya and her friends posed together around the beautifully arranged table. In her social media post, she expressed her gratitude for the gathering, referring to her friends as her “witches” and celebrating the special occasion with warmth and camaraderie.

Upcoming Project: Student of the Year: After Dark

Apart from her birthday festivities, Shanaya Kapoor is preparing for her upcoming series, Student of the Year: After Dark. The trailer for the series was released on November 1, providing a glimpse into the darker narrative that unfolds at St Theresa, the same school featured in the previous Student of the Year films. This new instalment promises a grittier storyline filled with secrets, death, and revenge.

The plot revolves around the mysterious death of a character named Aisha, whose body is discovered frozen and submerged. Her twin sister, Aditi, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind Aisha’s death, raising questions about whether it was an accident or part of a larger conspiracy. The series introduces a secret competition that adds an element of danger, with participants donning outfits reminiscent of the popular series Squid Game, hinting at severe consequences.

As the narrative unfolds, the story delves into themes of friendship, rivalry, and the quest for truth. Unlike the original film, which focused on the aspiration of winning, Student of the Year: After Dark explores the darker implications of ambition and the cost associated with it. The series features a cast that includes Abhinav Singh, Divik Sharma, Manya Grover, Deeya Damani, Adi Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Vivek Gomber, and is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment under the direction of Reema Maya.
