She pointed out that many families still regard managing daily household tasks as primarily a woman’s duty. Priyanka emphasized that these activities are essential life skills, rather than obligations tied to any particular gender. “Cleaning and cooking aren’t women’s work. They’re basic adulting,” she stated, calling for a shift in mindset that distinguishes between gender roles and lack of effort.

Changing Landscape of Cinema and Storytelling

In addition to her commentary on gender roles, Priyanka also discussed the evolving landscape of cinema and storytelling on a global scale. She praised the recent success of the Hollywood supernatural horror film, Obsession, and spoke about how advancements in technology have made it easier for aspiring filmmakers to enter the industry. According to her, the barriers that once existed have largely diminished.

Chopra noted that previously, individuals wanting to break into the film industry had to navigate complex pathways to find their place. “If you feel like you have an idea, shoot it, put it on YouTube, and it can become Obsession, the movie that just came out right now,” she explained.
