Inauguration Of New Garment Manufacturing Facility

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a new garment manufacturing facility established by Arvind Limited in Varanasi. This facility is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the region’s industrial landscape and promoting manufacturing-led growth. The initiative is particularly notable for its focus on women-led development, reflecting a commitment to increasing women’s participation in the workforce.

The new facility aims to create job opportunities in garment manufacturing, thereby contributing to the local economy. By tapping into the region’s potential for industrial investment, the initiative is poised to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s position as a significant hub for textile and apparel production.

With Arvind Limited catering to a global customer base, the garments produced in Varanasi are expected to reach international markets, further integrating the region into global supply chains. This development is anticipated to bolster India’s textile and apparel manufacturing ecosystem significantly.

Upcoming Aerial Display To Celebrate Indian Air Force

As part of his visit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to attend the Indian Air Force’s aerial display event, ‘Wings Over Ganges’, which commemorates 94 years of the IAF.
