Prakash Raj Supports CJP After School Protest Leads to Principal’s Suspension

The CSR Journal Magazine

Prakash Raj has reiterated his support for the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) following the suspension of the principal of a government school in Maharashtra. His comments came after a protest over the school’s deteriorating conditions reportedly prompted the local authorities to take action against the principal. The actor shared a video detailing this event, highlighting the community’s victory in their pursuit of accountability.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke announced the principal’s suspension during a video update from Hingoli, which he described as a significant achievement for the villagers of Limbala. He emphasised the importance of their protest, which centred around the principal allegedly reporting for duty while intoxicated. Dipke thanked a local resident, Abdul, for his efforts and commitment to advocating for the school’s improvements.

Raj expressed his enthusiasm for this development through a social media post, supporting the idea of citizens demanding accountability. He used the phrase “dimagi bano,” encouraging individuals to use their intellect rather than accept situations blindly. This remark was made soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned “dimagi naxals” during his Independence Day speech, a term which has since generated considerable discussion online.

CJP’s Campaign for Better School Conditions

The CJP’s ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign, initiated by Dipke in his home village, aims to address numerous issues plaguing government schools in Maharashtra. The movement calls for improved facilities, better management, and enhanced accountability within the education system. By engaging local communities, the CJP seeks to bring attention to the lack of basic amenities in these schools.

Dipke, who has consistently raised awareness about the deficient conditions in government educational institutions, has relied on community involvement to advocate for change. The recent protest in Hingoli marks a pivotal moment, as the villagers successfully pushed for action against the principal, highlighting their determination to resolve issues affecting their educational environment.

Prakash Raj’s ongoing involvement with the CJP dates back to the movement’s inception. He has actively participated in protests, demonstrating his commitment to advocating for the rights of students and the wider community. His support has amplified the campaign’s visibility and underscored the role of public figures in bringing societal issues to light.

Prakash Raj’s Political Commentary and Recent Activities

In addition to his support for the CJP, Prakash Raj has made headlines for his comments regarding his voter registration status. Following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, he publicly queried the Election Commission about the alleged removal of his name from the voters’ list. The Commission responded by clarifying that his name had not been deleted but marked as ‘shifted’ due to a change in his residence, urging him to re-register.

Raj has also participated in protests in New Delhi, advocating for students who raised alarms about inconsistencies in the NEET examination process. His engagement in these social issues has positioned him as a prominent voice in discussions about educational reform and electoral rights in India.

On the professional front, Prakash Raj remains active in the film industry, with various projects in different languages. His recent works include films such as Seetha Payanam, S Saraswathi, and Dacoit: A Love Story in Telugu, alongside upcoming appearances in Hindi films like Drishyam 3 and Varanasi, as well as projects in Tamil cinema, including Kaalidas 2.
