Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated the 118th birth anniversary of esteemed Hindi poet and freedom fighter Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’ on September 23, 2026. He stated that Dinkar’s writings remain a significant source of inspiration.

In his post, PM Modi expressed, “On the birth anniversary of the National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, I offer my deepest respects to him a hundredfold.” He highlighted how the emotions embedded in Dinkar’s poetry continue to inspire valor and self-esteem among the citizens of the country, underlining the importance of his contributions not merely to literature but also to the spirit of patriotism.
