In a very tragic incident, Sana Yousuf, a 17-year-old social media influencer was shot dead at her residence. Sana hailed from Upper Chitral, she was killed at her residence in Sector G-13 of Islamabad. According to reports, the attacker is believed to be a relative visiting her home frequently. The man opened fire at close range before fleeing the scene.
Gunshot wounds found on her body
The shocking incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sumbal Police Station, Islamabad. Sana reportedly sustained two gunshot wounds and died on the spot. Her body was transferred to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a post-mortem examination.

Following the incident the authorities have launched a manhunt to locate the suspect. Investigators are exploring multiple possible motives behind the murder. This includes honour killing, which has been a recurring issue in Pakistan. “The suspect entered the home, fired multiple shots, and escaped,” a police officer told local media
No arrests have been made so far, and the identity of the shooter remains officially unconfirmed.

Sana’s social media account boasted more than 400,000 subscribers. She was majorly followed for her lifestyle content, cultural videos. She also Chitral, and advocacy for women’s education and empowerment.
