NEET UG Counselling 2026: MCC Releases Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Results

The CSR Journal Magazine

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the provisional seat allotment results for the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling. This announcement allows candidates to view the medical colleges and courses they have been provisionally allocated. Registered candidates can access this information by visiting the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, and entering their login credentials.

The provisional allotment result includes each candidate’s personal details submitted at the time of registration, along with their assigned college and course. MCC has requested that candidates thoroughly verify the information for accuracy and promptly report any discrepancies they may find.

Objections related to the provisional allotment must be submitted by 3:59 pm on August 21 via the Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System, which is accessible through the candidate login portal. The MCC will review these objections prior to finalising the Round 1 seat allotment list.

Next Steps Following the Final Allotment

The final Round 1 seat allotment results are anticipated to be released today, following the assessment of any objections. Candidates who successfully secure a seat during Round 1 must report to their designated medical college between August 22 and August 31. The allotted institutes will conduct document verification for these candidates on September 1.

Following the final allotment, candidates who have been allocated a seat will receive further instructions on the necessary steps to confirm their admission. It is crucial for candidates to adhere to the schedule to ensure a smooth transition into their respective medical programmes.

To facilitate the verification process, candidates should be prepared with the required documents that will be reviewed by the institutions. This is an essential step in confirming enrolment in the respective medical colleges for the academic year.

Procedure to Check the Provisional Seat Allotment

Candidates looking to verify their respective provisional allotment results can follow a series of steps. First, they need to navigate to the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in. Then, they should click on the ‘UG Medical’ section located on the homepage.

Next, candidates will find the Candidate Activity Board, where they can select the link corresponding to the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment. To access their result, candidates must input their NEET UG roll number and password, along with the security PIN displayed on the screen. Upon submission, candidates will be able to view and download their allotment results for future reference.

It is advisable for candidates to save their results as this information will be pivotal for completing the admission process and reporting to the allotted college. Staying updated on further instructions through the MCC website will be beneficial for all candidates involved in this counselling round.

Counselling Timeline Overview

The MCC had facilitated registrations for the Round 1 counselling from August 5 until August 15. During this phase, candidates could submit their preferred college and course choices from August 6 to August 18, prior to the deadline of 11:59 pm.
