Dr Mihir Singh, a candidate sitting for the re-examination, shared his mixed feelings regarding the prior exam conditions. He stated that while the preparation for the examination was thorough, the organisation of the event fell short. “The management of the exam itself was terrible,” he noted, expressing the need for the authorities to enhance their logistical planning. Singh emphasised that the students encountered numerous challenges during the earlier test, which impacted their performance.

Another candidate’s father, Dr Tejendra Malik, reflected on the complications arising from the cancellation of the initial exam in Sitapura, remarking that the situation had indeed created difficulties for the students. He pointed out that the layout of the exam centres posed additional challenges, as many were situated in hard-to-reach locations. Malik suggested that the students were well-prepared for the initial attempt, expressing a desire that all had been conducted smoothly on one occasion to avoid the stress of multiple travel engagements.

Concerns regarding the past examination’s operational challenges were echoed by a NEET PG candidate, who reported repeated power failures at the ION Digital Zone centres. This candidate noted a concerning pattern of frequent electricity disruptions during the exam, which happened as many as 13 times within a short period, severely hindering the students’ ability to complete their tests smoothly.

Another student, Sohani Singh, articulated her frustrations regarding the power outages experienced during the previous exam. She highlighted the extensive preparation and dedication required for competitive entrance tests like NEET PG, noting it was disheartening to witness such setbacks. Singh’s comments reflect a broader sentiment among students affected by the difficulties, as she stated, “In my opinion, what happened was completely wrong.” Her statement underscores the significant investment of time and resources students and their families commit to this process.

Singh also pointed out the emotional and academic stakes involved in these examinations. She emphasised that candidates put immense effort into their studies, and disruptions such as power failures undermine their hard work. Her sentiments resonate with others who feel their futures are at risk due to these type of disarrayed circumstances.
