The 55-year-old Yu Wenhong, she is a medical aesthetics entrepreneur residing in Dalian, China, recently tied the knot with Liu Yuchen, 25, in March. This time their age difference isn’t the point of discussion, but the gift given by the bride to the groom, value at 50 million yuan (approximately Rs 6.85 crore). This includes cash, property, and luxury cars like Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz.

She started working as an eyebrow tattoo technician, she started her career in beauty industry. After years of hard work, YU Wenhong established medical aesthetics firm in Hong Kong in 2004. In no time she able to expand the network to over 150 partner outlets, just in a year. YU Wenhong’s company specializes in non-surgical cosmetic procedures, this market has been growing fast in China. Her company has offered many popular treatments, including the “Porcelain Doll” treatment in which customer’s own serum is reinjected into the skin, however it has also received scrutiny over safety concerns. In 2022, she even faced legal challenges in tax evasion case.

The businesswoman is not only famous for her controversial business, but she has a very controversial personal life. At the age of 45 she was in a relationship with a model residing abroad, and it is said that she has a child with him. Yu is known for her views; she has openly spoken about financial independence of women. It is rumoured that she met her husband Liu Yuchen in 2025, through a livestream interaction. He has earlier worked as a model in her company.
