American pop singer Kanye West’s former assistant is in hiding after filing sexual assault claims against the rapper, her lawyer told international media.
Lauren Pisciotta, a 36-year-old woman who began working for West in 2021, filed a lawsuit against him in June 2024, alleging she was sexually harassed and stalked. In her updated claims filed this year, she further accused West of sex trafficking, stalking, and assault.
The singer, now known as Ye, has denied all of Lauren’s claims and called them “fantasy fiction.”
The civil case is due in a United States court next month, but Pisciotta’s lawyer says that his client is currently in hiding and afraid. The lawyer also told national media that Pisciotta has now deleted most of her internet presence.
“It’s really sad—she’s gone through a lot. She’s suffering and has been suffering since she began working for Mr. West.”
What is the Lawsuit
Earlier this month, an amended claim filed by Pisciotta alleged that six days later, she became a victim of targeted swatting. Swatting involves reporting false serious crimes at a specific location to prompt law enforcement to raid the site.
According to the amended lawsuit filed on 10 July 2025, she claimed that she was “bombarded with unwanted, harassing, and alarming” visits from the police. On one such occasion, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office conducted an armed raid at her property in Florida after receiving a report that Ms. Pisciotta had killed her own mother.
Ms. Pisciotta alleged that during her time working for West, she was repeatedly sexually assaulted and harassed, including one occasion while working on the Donda album. She claims that West came to her hotel room and demanded to use her shower. Reportedly, after some time, he came out of the shower and dropped his towel, revealing his penis.
At other times, West frequently engaged in sexual activity with staff members in the Yeezy office and would record the encounters and send them to his assistant.
Pisciotta also claims that West exposed employees to extreme displays of racism and antisemitism on a daily basis. “Ye constantly used derogatory, antisemitic slurs and interrogated employees he suspected were Jewish. On multiple occasions, Ye demanded that his assistants and other employees draw swastikas in the workplace,” stated the lawsuit.
The lawyer also told an American podcast show that Kanye West “had a song called Hail Hitler, he calls himself ‘the walking Nazi’. He admits to sexually harassing his employees. You see all that he’s done publicly—you can’t imagine what he has done in private.”
Kanye West’s team has denied any response to the claims.
