The CSR Journal Magazine

Jio has announced an exciting development for its users, enabling them to utilise Canva’s premium design features at no additional cost. From September 16, eligible Jio customers in India will have the opportunity to receive up to 12 months free access to either Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite, enhancing their capabilities in creating various design materials. The partnership between Jio and Canva reportedly offers subscriptions valued up to Rs 4,000.

The specific type of Canva subscription provided will depend on the Jio recharge plan selected by users. Those who opt for the Rs 399 plan will gain access to the full Canva Pro, while customers on the Rs 349 plan, along with eligible 2GB/day plans exceeding Rs 349, will receive the more limited Canva Pro Lite.

Claiming this offer is straightforward. Eligible users can access the MyJio app, locate the Canva promotion, and activate it seamlessly. Importantly, there are no hidden charges or additional costs associated with the subscription, providing an uncomplicated way for users to enjoy these premium features.

Features of Canva Pro and Pro Lite

Canva Pro equips users with access to millions of premium templates, images, videos, and fonts, alongside powerful tools such as instant background removal and the Magic Eraser feature. Additionally, Canva Pro includes AI-driven creative tools that allow for chat-based design interaction, enhancing user experience and flexibility.

On the other hand, Canva Pro Lite presents several premium design options but comes with some limitations compared to the full Pro version. Users will have access to a basic Brand Kit featuring three kits, whereas Canva Pro allows for the creation of up to five advanced Brand Kits. Other notable features exclusive to Canva Pro include the Content Planner, Magic Resize functionality, and elevated AI limits.

The collaboration between Jio and Canva aims to streamline design processes for individuals with limited design expertise. This initiative enables users to design school projects, social media posts, presentations, marketing materials, and festival greetings conveniently from their mobile devices.

Language Support and Accessibility

A significant aspect of this partnership is its focus on language accessibility. Canva has stated that the platform will support content creation in Hindi and several other Indian languages, ensuring that it caters to a broader audience beyond just English speakers. This move is intended to make design tools more inclusive and accessible for diverse demographics across India.

Eligible users will be able to start claiming their 12-month Canva offer from September 16, 2026, through various Jio recharge channels. This extension of premium design capabilities is expected to empower Jio customers in exploring their creativity and enhancing their professional or personal projects with ease.

Overall, this collaboration not only signifies a productive partnership between Jio and Canva but also demonstrates a commitment to enhancing user experience by providing valuable resources for content creation on a larger scale, particularly targeting users who may lack extensive design knowledge.
