In a tragic incident in Jind, Haryana, four women lost their lives due to a fire that erupted at a paint factory. Local authorities confirmed the fatalities and stated that investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the blaze. Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Singh indicated that a case has been registered against the factory’s owner as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Fire Response Efforts

Last week, in a separate incident, fire emergency services responded to another blaze at a scrap warehouse located near the Bawdi Gate area. Firefighters reported that they received the emergency call around 10 AM, prompting the rapid deployment of five fire tenders to the scene. Firefighter Sanjay Sharma noted that the teams effectively managed to control the fire shortly after their arrival.

Investigative Actions

The local police are continuing their investigation into both incidents, aiming to gather details that may clarify the circumstances surrounding the fires. The government’s intention to hold accountable those responsible has been underscored by the action taken against the paint factory owner.
