In a communication directed to the Senior Superintendent of Police (Security), Choudhary’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) has called for the reinstatement of a jammer vehicle that was removed from Choudhary’s motorcade six months prior for maintenance. The OSD expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of action regarding a previous request for a bulletproof vehicle essential for Choudhary’s upcoming visit to Nowshera, emphasizing the urgency of these security upgrades. The official’s correspondence also highlighted the need for replacing obsolete vehicles within the security fleet.

Choudhary was in attendance at a wedding event alongside Farooq Abdullah when the former Chief Minister narrowly avoided a shooting incident. The attack was reportedly executed by one Kamal Singh Jamwal, a 63-year-old individual who was apprehended by security personnel immediately following the attempt. This incident has heightened the awareness of potential threats faced by prominent political figures in Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the critical nature of fortified security measures.
