According to a communication from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), gas agencies are closely monitoring the distribution process to guarantee smooth deliveries without the need for customers to visit service points or stand in long queues.

In a bid to enhance customer convenience, oil marketing companies have introduced technology-enabled systems that facilitate home delivery of LPG cylinders. Citizens can place orders simply by clicking on their mobile devices. Sufficient stocks are reported to be available for new bookings and refills. Registered beneficiaries are able to use various platforms, including WhatsApp, missed calls, SMS services, the Indian Oil mobile application, and the Indian Oil website, to place their orders.

Booking Options for Different Gas Providers

For those using Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL), LPG bookings are accessible via WhatsApp at 7588888824, or by calling 8454955555 from a registered number. Additional options include SMS/IVRS at 7718955555 and utilization of the IndianOil ONE mobile app or the online portal. HP Gas customers can book through WhatsApp at 9222201122, make calls from registered numbers at 9493602222, and opt for SMS/IVRS through 8888823456. The HP PAY mobile app and the myhpgas.in online portal are also functional for bookings. Bharatgas customers have a similar range of options, including WhatsApp at 1800224344 and phone booking through 7710955555. They can also use SMS/IVRS via 7715012345, with availability on the HelloBPCL app and the my.ebharatgas.com portal.

According to officials, the booking system has been digitized, ensuring that customers receive SMS confirmations upon placing their orders. The authorities are prioritizing delivery for individuals with domestic gas connections. With sufficient LPG stock in circulation across Gujarat, the system is designed to guarantee timely delivery directly to consumers’ homes. Reports indicate an increasing buffer stock available in the state, contributing to overall reliability in service delivery.

Residents have expressed satisfaction regarding the service. Mahipalsinh Pratapsinh Parmar, a customer from Thasra in Kheda district, stated that Indane gas cylinders are being delivered consistently, and services are being conducted according to established guidelines. Another resident, Paresh Vora, noted the prompt delivery of cylinders post-booking. Nazim Khan Nabi Khan Pathan from Kalsar village also reported easy availability of cylinders, confirming that deliveries are adhering to regulations.

Harish Chandrasinh Bhati, the manager of Khushi HP Gas Agency in Modasa, remarked on the consistent stock levels and the daily arrival of supply vehicles. He encouraged customers to book via their registered numbers, assuring them of delivery within a two-day timeframe and reassuring them against succumbing to unfounded panic. The state government has deployed revenue and police personnel to oversee LPG distribution processes in all public and private gas agencies, thereby ensuring timely supply while minimizing irregularities.
