A former captain of Air India was found deceased under mysterious circumstances at Hotel The Grand, located in Vasant Kunj, South Delhi, on Thursday. The incident was reported on the evening of September 11, when the man’s brother alerted the hotel manager regarding his brother’s lack of response to ongoing phone calls. In response, the manager proceeded to the guest’s room, where he discovered the door was locked from within. Using the hotel’s master key, staff members entered the room and found the guest unconscious and unresponsive.

Upon discovering the situation, hotel personnel promptly contacted local police authorities. Officers from the Vasant Kunj North police station arrived at the scene, and the man was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by attending physicians.
