Dinesh Karthik’s Cricket Career

Karthik debuted in Test cricket against Australia in 2004 and played his last match against England in 2018. Over his career, he participated in 26 Test matches, amassing a total of 1,025 runs across 42 innings, with an average of 25. His performance includes one century and seven half-centuries. In One Day Internationals (ODIs), Karthik made his debut against England at Lord’s in September 2004 and played his final ODI during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2019 against New Zealand. Throughout his ODI career, he scored 1,752 runs in 94 matches, achieving an average of 30.20, including nine half-centuries.

T20 International Contributions

In T20 Internationals, Karthik first appeared against South Africa in 2006 and concluded his T20I career against Bangladesh in November 2022. Across 60 matches, he scored a total of 686 runs in 48 innings, recording an average of 26.38 and one half-century.
