Uttar Pradesh, India: Child Heart Foundation (CHF), in collaboration with NTPC, successfully conducted a medical screening camp focused on congenital heart disease (CHD) in the Nai Aabadi locality of Dadri, Noida in April 2025. The camp screened a total of 130 children for early signs of cardiac anomalies.
The joint initiative brought together a dedicated team of two doctors, four medical staff members, and two interns who carried out thorough clinical evaluations. Five children were identified as suspected CHD cases and have been referred for further diagnostic assessments and follow-up care to CHF centre in South Delhi.
The camp witnessed strong participation from the local community, with parents and guardians showing great interest in understanding pediatric heart health. The effort aimed to drive early detection and timely intervention for children with potential heart conditions, especially in underserved areas.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Vikas Kohli, Founder, Child Heart Foundation said, “Early diagnosis is key to improving outcomes for children born with heart defects. Through collaborations like this, we are able to reach more families and guide them toward timely and effective treatment. We thank the community for their trust and NTPC for their support in making this possible.”
The success of the Dadri camp marks another milestone in Child Heart Foundation and NTPC’s ongoing mission to combat congenital heart disease through awareness, early intervention, and community outreach. This camp is first among many more planned over the coming months.
