CSR: Karur Vysya Bank Donates Rs. 2.25 crore for Classroom Block

The newly constructed class room block of the Municipal Higher Secondary School, Karur funded by Karur Vysya Bank under its CSR initiatives, was inaugurated by Tmt. S. Malarvizhi, I.A.S., Karur District Collector on 26 February 2021.

Karur Vysya Bank has donated a sum of Rs. 2.25 crores from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds towards construction of the classroom block consisting of 16 classrooms and 2 laboratories. Rotary Club of Karur Texcity collaborated with the Bank in this project.

Karur Vysya Bank actively supports several social, educational and health related initiatives within Karur which is the place where the bank commenced business 105 years ago.
