About Pink Projection: Pink Projection project by Yamaha covers surveillance and monitoring capabilities at 26 police stations across Noida and Greater Noida. The initiative comprises installing TV walls and networking equipment to enable real-time monitoring of high-footfall public spaces such as metro stations, bus stops and marketplaces with the aim of stricter surveillance and strengthening the public safety network. Supporting law enforcement with tech-enabled surveillance, the system provides Live feeds with direct connectivity to hundreds of city cameras. With the aim of empowering women with safer public spaces as well as reduction in street crime, the installations provide live data analytics ensuring faster response of law and enforcement and quick dispatch of police patrols, thus reinforcing safety mechanisms, while enabling smart policing and enhancing public welfare.
About Pink Booth: Pink Booths established in the city are specially designed to provide a reliable and welcoming environment for women, ensuring they have a safe place to rest, seek assistance, and feel protected. Strengthening the police accessibility and quicker response in a distress situation, the booths aremanned by police officers to ensure 24/7 support and assistance such as registering complaints and getting immediate assistance as well as direct connections to the nearest police stations and helpline numbers. The initiative also aims to educate women about their rights, offer self-defence workshops, and legal guidance, thereby enhancing their confidence and mobility in public spaces.
Looking beyond the current scope, both the projects envision expansion into more locations, integration of advanced surveillance, and fostering greater community engagement. Yamaha is deeply connected to safety and community well-being, and these initiatives are a testament of the company’s commitment to women safety as part of its sustainability efforts.
