Ekam Eco Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a leading advocate for sustainable solutions along with DCB Bank, a new-generation private sector bank, proudly inaugurated a cutting-edge composting facility at Goa University today. This facility, located on the university grounds, boasts a remarkable capacity of processing 657 kilograms of wet waste per day, marking a significant step towards efficient waste management and environmental sustainability.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Goa University, Prof. Harilal B Menon, and Prof. V S Nadkarni, the Registrar of Goa University. Joining them were Mr. Mahendra Arote, Branch Head of DCB Bank Punjim, Mr. Sachin Joshi, Co-Founder of Ekam Eco Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Samruddha Hegade, Managing Partner of Alterenergyz. Speaking at the inauguration, Prof. Menon expressed gratitude for the collective effort that brought this facility to fruition, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in promoting a cleaner and greener environment.
