CM Dhami Participates in Yuva Sankalp Diwas, Motivates Youth

On September 16, 2026, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the “Yuva Sankalp Diwas” programme at Rangers Ground in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This event coincided with his birthday, which he celebrated alongside the youth, expressing gratitude for their involvement. Dhami described their engagement as the most significant gift he could receive on this occasion.

During the programme, CM Dhami visited a photo exhibition organised at the venue, highlighting the achievements and aspirations of the youth in the state. He noted that the energy and determination exhibited by the younger generation serve as a source of inspiration for him.

In his address, the Chief Minister articulated his belief that today’s youth will be instrumental in achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by the centenary of its independence in 2047. One notable initiative is the establishment of the State Youth Commission, aimed at integrating the aspirations of the youth into policy-making processes. The Youth Commission will focus on various facets, including skill development, employment opportunities, and addressing social issues like drug abuse and cybercrime. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of digital empowerment and awareness among the youth to help them navigate these challenges.

He remarked on the necessity of enhancing sports infrastructure, further enabling youth to excel while fostering a culture of sportsmanship.
