After the Voter Adhikar Yatra of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, the Congress Working Committee is going to meet in Patna. A meeting of the Congress Working Committee has been called in Patna on 24 September, which will include many big leaders of the party including party president Mallikarjun Kharge. The current political scenario will be discussed in this extended meeting of functioning under the chairmanship of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. In this, there will be focus on other issues of the state including votes theft and intensive revision of voter list i.e. SIR. Rahul Gandhi’s visit was also focused on SIR.
Trying to create an atmosphere before the election
This meeting of the Congress is a big effort to keep itself at the center just before the Bihar assembly elections. The Congress is trying to find its lost land in Bihar. This meeting of the Congress is going to be held at a time when CM candidate Tejashwi Yadav is traveling for 10 days across the state on behalf of RJD. Earlier, he was also involved in the Voter Adhikar Yatra with Rahul. The Congress is constantly making efforts to maintain the atmosphere in favor of Congress from Voter Adhikar Yatra. This meeting is also being seen under this effort. In which all the big leaders of Congress from the country will come to Patna and the party will be discussed at the national level.
State Election Committee meeting today
In view of the Bihar assembly elections, the Congress has started churning on the names of its potential candidates. In this connection, the first meeting of the State Election Committee of Congress has been called in Patna on 18 September. This meeting is considered very important in terms of the party’s upcoming strategy, selection of potential candidates and finalizing the screening process. The meeting will include 39 members of the committee as well as all MPs, MLAs, Legislative Councilors, Bihar Secretary of Congress, Member of Working Committee and head of party’s frontal organizations. The party’s national in -charge Krishna Allavaru has also reached Patna to participate in the meeting.
