Ayush Badoni Becomes Third Player to Reach 1000 IPL Runs for Lucknow Super Giants

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) cricketer Ayush Badoni has etched his name in the annals of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by becoming the third player from his team to accumulate 1000 runs. He reached this milestone during a match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Kolkata on April 10. Entering the game, the right-handed batsman required just 25 runs to enter the exclusive 1000-run club.

Facilitating his landmark score, Badoni achieved the milestone in the 12th over of LSG’s innings while chasing a target of 182 runs. With this accomplishment, he joins an elite company of players, becoming the second Indian batter to score 1000 runs for LSG, following KL Rahul, who was the first to reach this figure for the franchise. Badoni now boasts a total of 1029 runs from 59 matches, maintaining an average of 26.38.

In addition to marking his personal milestone, Badoni made a significant contribution to his team’s performance in the match. He scored 54 runs off 34 deliveries, featuring seven fours and two sixes.
