Assam Board to Announce Class 10 Results Tomorrow at 10 AM

The CSR Journal Magazine

The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) is scheduled to release the Assam HSLC Result 2026 tomorrow, April 10, at 10 AM. Students who sat for the Class 10 board examinations will be able to access their results through the official website, sebaonline.org, and other designated platforms. This year, the board has opted for an earlier announcement to facilitate a smooth transition for students ahead of the forthcoming academic year.

As per the latest reports, the official results will be confirmed shortly before the announcement. To address potential high traffic and website crashes, SEBA has ensured that results can also be viewed on multiple platforms, including resultsassam.nic.in and asseb.in. This will give students various options to obtain their results with minimal hassle.

In addition to accessing results online, students can use the DigiLocker and UMANG apps. These alternative platforms will enable students to quickly retrieve their scorecards. It is advisable for students to have their roll number and admit card ready, as these details will be essential to log in and view results.

Procedure to Check and Download Results

SEBA has designed a straightforward procedure for students to check their HSLC results. To facilitate this process, students should begin by visiting the official website, sebaonline.org. They will find a link labelled ‘HSLC Result 2026’ which they need to click.

Upon clicking the link, students are required to enter their roll number and other relevant details. After submitting the information, the result will be displayed on the screen. Students should ensure that they download and print a copy for future reference. However, it is important to note that the online marksheet will be provisional, with original marksheets and passing certificates to be issued later through respective schools.

The Assam HSLC examinations for this academic year took place from February 10 to February 27, 2026. This year recorded participation from over 4 lakh students, marking it as one of the most significant school-level examinations in Assam.

Post-Result Procedures and Advisory for Students

Following the release of results, students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets within a specified timeframe. Additionally, for those who do not pass certain subjects, SEBA will conduct compartment examinations, offering students another chance to clear their papers without losing an academic year.

Students who successfully clear the HSLC examination will be eligible for enrolment in Class 11 (Higher Secondary), choosing from streams such as Science, Commerce, or Arts, based on their performance and interests. This transition is a critical step as students plan their future educational pathways.

Students are encouraged to remain calm in case of website slowdowns immediately following the result announcement. They should either wait patiently or utilise alternative platforms to check their scores. It is also advisable to verify all details on the marksheet thoroughly. In the event of any discrepancies, students should promptly reach out to their school authorities or SEBA officials to ensure corrections are made in a timely manner.
