During his visit, he provided immediate instructions to officials regarding necessary arrangements.

Inauguration Details and Future Developments

The Prime Minister is set to officially open the airport along with its cargo terminal and will lay the groundwork for a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility, which is an important aspect of advancing the Jewar aviation hub. Following the site inspection, Yogi Adityanath also led a review meeting at the airport’s auditorium with senior officials and local representatives. The discussions concentrated on the execution of the event, readiness for operations, security measures, and inter-departmental coordination.

Security Measures and Crowd Management

Officials outlined comprehensive plans regarding security, traffic control, parking logistics, and alternative routes, noting that a four-layered security system will be implemented during the event. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for sufficient deployment of administrative staff, police personnel, and volunteers across the venue to facilitate smooth crowd management and to avoid any disruptions.

Focus on Infrastructure and Public Services

Adityanath highlighted the importance of seamless connectivity to the airport location and requested thorough arrangements for visitor amenities, including sanitation, uninterrupted electricity supply, access to drinking water, restrooms, transportation, fire safety, medical services, and clear signage. Specific instructions were given to ensure the availability of mobile toilets, assistance desks, drinking water facilities, and medical support at parking areas for guests coming from various districts.

Emphasis on Branding and Public Outreach

The Chief Minister also called for extensive branding and publicity efforts to elevate the profile of the inauguration, aiming to ensure a grand, international-level presentation that maximizes public engagement. These strategies are intended to underscore the significance of the new airport and its role in enhancing connectivity and economic growth in the region.
